Timeline and moments

A life that records itself, because recording is easy.

The timeline is the heart of the app. Add a photo, two sentences, or just a date — it sorts itself by when it happened. No folders, no tags, no decisions about where things belong. Year by year it becomes something nobody can recreate afterwards.

The first entry writes itself the moment you add an animal, dated to the day it came to you. The chronicle never starts on an empty screen. From there come the first trip, the first quiet night, the silly thing nobody will remember precisely in two years — but it will be written down.

The difference from photos on your phone is that this cannot get lost or drowned. Your gallery holds twelve thousand images, receipts and screenshots among them. Here there is one life, and it is all in one place.

Moments can be added later, too. Remember something from last year, pick the date, and the entry settles into the right place.

With your first photo we ask whether you hold the rights to it — whether it is yours, or you have permission from whoever took it. Confirming once is enough; we will not ask again. Publishing it on the public page is then a second, separate decision.

Every entry can carry a photo and a short video. The video counts towards the minutes in your plan — one budget across all your pets, on profiles and in chronicles alike. And an entry can be edited or deleted at any time later: the Edit button sits underneath it. Only the owner, or whoever wrote it, may delete it.

For each entry you can say what it is: an ordinary note, a milestone, or a visit to the vet. The distinction is only for you — for milestones and vet visits it appears beside the date, otherwise nothing changes. Health records such as vaccinations, weight and medication belong in the health diary; in the chronicle, a vet visit is a story, not a record.
